Rare silver thimble with a screw on to a silver base

Rare silver thimble with a screw on to a silver base with cross hatching [for sealing letters] and containing a tiny scent bottle. Both in excellent condition, There is no hall mark, but there seems to be a tiny ‚marc de garantie‚ which could be French Eagle head used for the provinces at the beginning of the 19th century c.1838. See lower left on rim. Will try to get more information as it will be the first such item with a French mark. Very decorative engraved border.
