Sewing set F385

Sewing set. The famous fish sewing set. Silver plate outside, showing a carp with all it‚s scales. Opening it, shows a tiny carp needle case, thimble, stiletto, a bodkin and working scissors. All in silver and in excellent condition enclosed in plum velour. Size 4ins or 10 cms long. Probably French, cir 1850. these charming fish are difficult to find complete.
