Needle work tools may be making the transition from being niche, to being advertised in general sale where they fetch good prices. When bidding for a sewing tool it is infuriating to being challenged by a dealer only interested in the look of the box, hardly bothering to check out the tools inside. Same goes for gold thimbles set with jewels being snaffled in high bids by jewellery dealers. Of course recognition and appreciation will cause prices to rise.
