About 20 years ago no one went abroad for half term, you were lucky to get a day trip to Brighton, or up to London. Now parents take their little darlings to Bermuda!Now rail fares are so expensive, it may be cheaper than a family trip to London.We do get day trippers from France and Belgium on the Eurostar.
