Those of you who read The Sunday Telegraph, last Sunday July 16th in the ‘Life Style-Sunday’ section on p.13, will have seen yours truly listed under ‘Thimbles-5 minute Expert’ with a quarter page article plus picture of a jewelled Worcester thimble c.1880 [since sold] Very glad to see continued interest in our branch of sewing tools. The journalist asked informed questions without any condescension, which is not always the case when it comes to ‘womens collectables’.
