Palais Royale sewing box, French c.1790-1830. Size approx 8ins or 17cms. Mother-of-pearl and gilt sewing tools. Thimble, scissors, stilleto, needle case, scent bottle and winders. Some black spots on the original mirror and some wear on the silk pad to put over the inside when travelling.

Lovely Burr Mulberry wood with elegant steel stud decoration and m.o.p escutcheons.
