Chatelaine. Silver chatelaine size 12ins or 30cms long. A rich well designed quality item. The hallmarks vary, the ornate clip shows a royal scene with a king, hll mkd GSFS London 1840. The shell shaped pin cushion mkd London 1813. The carnet GU [George Unite] Bham 1818 , thimble bucket Bham 1901. No hall mark found on scent bottle or scissors. The scissors are intricately designed with birds perched on the handles.
