Chatelaines F506

Chatelaine. Silver French, five piece matching chatelaine. Tiny French hall marks on most pieces. Length of drop 1 ft or 30 cms.

The same decorative gothic monogram appears on each piece except the purse. The initials are difficult to decipher.

From the left, a small lidded container, a cased folding steel scissors and knife, s purse with division inside the purse for different coins, a tortoiseshell tiny comb, a mirror in both sides of the case. Very good quality dog clips fasteners and chains. Excellent condition and decorative. Made cir 1890.
