Ornate Mother-of-pearl pen knife

Pen Knife. Ornate carved mother-of-pearl handle with central silver cartouche for monogram. Decorative, engraved blade with foliage. Hall mkd Sheffield 1825. Used as a fruit knife, the silver blade would not tarnish when in contact with fruit.
