19th century water colour by F.Arnold [signed] subject is named ‚eventide‚ and shows an English pastoral scene with a woman coming home along a country lane, with his famous translucent skies. Original gilt gesso on wood frame. size approx 60cms by 40cms. In excellent condition with no fading . Painted c.1890/1901. an internationally known painter.
