Round sweet-meats box

Round box, the sides in tooled leather. The glass lid covers the coloured print of a lady wearing a crinoline. The dress and parts of the lady are finely embroidered. Used to contain sweets or pastilles. Probably French c.1840-50.

Approx 4 Inches across.

Approx 10 cm across.

Condition: Very good.
