Sewing and scent container c.1870

Near mint condition. Mother-of pearl shells, approx 7ins or 15cms high. Reveal two scent bottles and sewing tools, needle case, scissors, stilleto, thimble.

 These large m.o.p. shells are no longer found owing to earlier over fishing. The gilt finial top clicks shut or presses down to open.
