Silver gilt, rare book shaped etui. Size approx 3ins/8cms. Excellent condition. European, cir 1790, hand painted under glass, bouquets of flowers front, back and on spine. the top slides to allow tools to pop up, complete on working order, scissors, earspoon/bodkin, scent bottle and knife. Lower book opens like a box for pins or snuff.
