Sewing tool, a wrist suspended thread holder

Intricate carved Corozo or also called Coquilla nut, thread container. Suspended from the wrist by a silver bangle, which is marked with a tiny dagger, so possibly Dutch c.1840. excellent crisp condition, a collectors piece.
