Tooth pick box

Delightful carved fruitwood snuff box. Perfect wood hinges, the lid has a tiny metal placque for initials [none as yet] Size 2ins or 5cms across.

Attractive wood markings, polished with good tight lid, English c.1850.

Tortoishell tooth pick box with a tiny mirror [original] inside the lid. The case lined with red velvet [original]. An inset profile of a young woman, encircled with a gold mount. Cir 1820. Size 3 and a half ins, 9cms. Excellent condition.
