Early painted Tunbridge ware money box. English c.1810.
Made to represent a small thatched cottage. A slit to accept the coins. Two old repairs in the lid otherwise good condition. Picture of windows, plants and a face looking out, the face is a simple puzzle, you turn it upside down to see it. Chimney on top. This item is early Tunbridge ware before the later stick ware.
