Cometh the sunshine, cometh the warmer weather, goeth the money! I don't know if you do, but a drop of sunshine and I feel the sap rising. I can't wait to get out and about and see what new delights are on offer. But I make myself check my bank balance now as having to add 25% on a total in most auctions, makes a big difference. Be aware.

Is there anything more joyful than seeing the early bulbs braving the chilly weather and coming up for another year to cheer us up. Going to visit country Antiques Fairs is a pleasure looking at the wild flowers and braving a coffee with old friends outside sharing our purchases. More of us are buying at fairs than auctions because the premiums are high
Well any one visiting Britain may think we have all taken leave of our senses over the Brexit Debates.
Goodness knows when it will all get resolved. At the moment we are all trying to ignore it, bury our heads in our collections and see what we would like the next purchase to be. I have to admit it is getting so hard to find 'Objets de Vertu' as the items on my website are mostly called. People don't need to sell them because they take up so little room and add so much charm.
